Simon Keeble

 

simon keebleSimon is the Director and Head Coach of the A-Game Tennis Academy. Simon began playing tennis at the age of 7 and progressed to playing Victorian State Grade Pennant and is a 5 time winner of Grade 1 Pennant. Before setting up his Academy at Geelong Lawn, he was the Head Coach at the Royal Park and Diamond Creek Tennis Clubs in Melbourne. Simon is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach and has also been recently appointed a Tennis Australia Talent Development Coach.

Simon is passionate about getting the best out of all his students in a fun and co-operative environment.

Ken Barton

ken bartonKen Barton has had a lifetime of involvement in tennis as a player, coach and administrator. He is a Tennis Australia Master Club Professional qualified coach, with many years of experience coaching at all levels of the game, but particularly enjoys seeing new players enjoying the game for the first time. The A-Game Tennis Academy is extremely fortunate to have such an experienced and well credentialed coach as part of its team.

 

Paul Mahoney

paul mahoneyPaul has a passion for junior coaching. He specialises in the 4-10yr old beginner player and is a Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach. Paul excels in our Hotshots program and has a fountain of knowledge when it comes to teaching young players experiencing tennis for the first time. When not coaching at the Academy Paul can be found practising or playing matches at Geelong Lawn which proves he has a real passion for the sport.

Matthew Holschier

matthew holschierMatthew is 21yrs old and a 3 time Geelong Lawn Tennis Club Champion. He was a member of Geelong Lawn’s inaugural Premier League Team in 2010 and also in 2011. Matt is an extremely popular coach with both our junior and adult students. His enthusiasm on court is infectious and his famous penalties ensure not only your tennis but fitness will improve also. Matt is also currently studying Civil Engineering at Deakin University.

Ari Levinson

ari levinsonAri completed his Tennis Australia Junior Development qualification 12 months ago at the age of 17 which shows his dedication and commitment to being the best coach he can. Ari’s outgoing personality and communication skills have proven him to be one of A-GAMES most popular coaches. Ari is currently studying Commerce/Law at Deakin and also working tirelessly on his own tennis which sees him this year playing No. 1 in Geelong Lawn’s Grade 2 Pennant team.

Saifon Love

saifon loveSaifon is a past student at the A-Game Tennis Academy and now is one of our most popular Hotshots coaches. Sai has a Level 1 ATPCA Coaching qualification and has represented the Barwon Region in tennis and played Junior and Senior pennant for the Geelong Lawn Tennis Club. She is the perfect role model for our aspiring female juniors, hard working, friendly, fair and patient. Sai’s infectious smile and personality is a hit with all her students and parents.

David Hambrook

david hambrookDavid has been involved with tennis from an early age, playing locally for over 8 years. He has been a part of the Geelong Lawn Tennis Club since 2008 and has worked in the Hot Shots program during this time. With a Physical Education background, David is a teacher at Fyans Park Primary School and has taken on Sports Coordinating roles within the schools he has taught at. David is also a level 1 cricket coach which has seen him play and coach abroad. His teaching has allowed him to work with students at a Primary, Secondary and TAFE level and the combination of both teaching and sport through coaching at Geelong Lawn Tennis Club allows him to pursue his passion - this shows in the rapport he builds with both the players and the parents he is involved with.
